Kansas City Chiefs Upset New England Patriots on Season Opener

On Thursday night, the New England Patriots hosted the Kansas City Chiefs on national television for the NFL’s season opener. Before the game the Patriots unveiled their new Super Bowl banner.

However, not all went well that night for the Patriots.

The Patriots were stunned as they were upset by the Kansas City Chiefs. The Patriots are favorited to win the Super Bowl again this year, according to the Westgate Las Vegas Super Book.

The game was close, and the Patriots had a six point advantage the first three quarters as they leaded 21-27 entering the fourth quarter.

However, the Chiefs’ offense exploded, as they scored another 21 points to win the game 42-27.

Chiefs Quarterback Alex Smith threw for 368 yards and 4 touchdowns, a truly remarkable performance.

How will the Patriots bounce back from this week one defeat?
